Champions

Aphelios [Bot] - As one of the strongest glass cannons int he game, Aphelios is well complimented by having a Soraka in lane coupled with powerful diving champions to augment his power. His self-heal is also quite good if he gets in range and running double champions is his specialty.

Sylas [Mid] -  When it comes to obnoxious healing power, few can compete with Sylas for some serious sustain in a team fight. Even if your team is packing healing reduction, dealing permanent damage to him is nearly impossible without heavy crowd-control. Unfortunately, heavy crowd-control tends to center in on powerful ultimates which is Sylas' bread and butter for stealing.

Soraka [Support] - Players have mixed feelings when it comes to Soraka. She's not the world's most oppressive support in this engage heavy meta, but at the same time, she's one of the most frustrating champions in the game to deal with if your team can't effectively engage on her. When you grant your team this unicorn fountain of health, everything just feels more comfortable.

Ekko [Jungler] - Not exactly a true healer, Ekko is the ultimate dive buddy for Sylas and Darius, capable of massive crowd-control, damage, and tanking all in one. This gives your team freedom to jump in while Ekko soaks up the enemy team's most dangerous spells.

Darius [Top] - Darius rounds out this team with the resets and allows the team to dish massive damage on the enemy team on a single target basis while the rest of his team explodes them with AOE spells. He also provides another dive buddy, giving the team more room for error and giving Ekko freedom to ult backwards without leaving Sylas high and dry.

Key Concepts

• Dive freely and rotate out as you get low for some healing batteries.
• If they have a lot of kiting power and ranged champions, focus on split-pushing. if they're mostly melee then focus on team fighting.

Countering

Countering this team involves heavily kiting and CC'ing them coupled with plenty of healing reduction.

Here is an example team that may succeed:

• Lux [Mid] - The ultimate long-range kite champion, Lux is capable of CC'ing melee to oblivion. While she doesn't have many tools at her disposal once the gap is closed, as long as she doesn't get snowballed on she can hold her own.

• Karthus [Jungle] - This one's a bit of a hit or miss. If you can farm up safely then he's an excellent anti-dive champion that can give the enemy team second thoughts about diving. If he doesn't scale, then he ends up as a free kill.

• Lissandra [Top] - One of the few champions that can actually give Darius trouble top lane, her powerful crowd-control also gives her the rare opportunity to lock down a single target and crush them before they can heal. On the other hand, her ultimate is incredibly strong and might end up hurting you in the hands of Sylas if you don't get him before he gets you.

• Leona [Support] - The ultimate CC support, Leona brings in a much needed front line to this team in combination with her lock down abilities.

• Varus [Marksman] - Sporting built-in heal reduction and AOE crowd control, Varus is an excellent choice against this enemy team. Both his attack speed and lethality builds also work well here, one for tank busting and the other for long-range poking.

Overall this team is also strong, but very heavy in AP damage.
