Massive AOE Loves Resets
This team composition specializes in massive AOE damage in combination with resets for Twitch and Katarina, resulting in the ability to turn around and one-shot the entire enemy team instantly. It packs plenty of crowd-control and multiple threats, choosing to focus on pure AOE damage to win fights.

All Cards on Yasuo
Here's one of those ridiculous team compositions that somehow works spectacularly despite looking like garbage. As promised, if I lose to one of these then it's making its way to the top team comp list...actually, let's rename it to the Team Comp That Pummeled SSJ...although that might be too wordy.
Anyway, this team comp is an all-in Yasuo comp with some ranged crowd-control flair added into the mix. It's incredibly obnoxious, but definitely focuses on getting Yasuo ahead. Check out how it works below!
Champions
Anyway, this team comp is an all-in Yasuo comp with some ranged crowd-control flair added into the mix. It's incredibly obnoxious, but definitely focuses on getting Yasuo ahead. Check out how it works below!
Champions
- Yasuo [Bot] - No Yasuo comp can come online without a Yasuo, and this one's no exception.
- Lux [Mid] - As the mid-laner with the highest utility in the game, Lux is perfect as a long-range snipe champion built to get fights going and also to keep Yasuo alive with her supportive abilities. If you wanted to really hone in on the Yasuo meta, you can also put Malphite here and drop J4 into the jungle.
- Alistar [Support] - Alistar's got the fastest and most consistent knock-up combos in the game from any support. Putting him in with Yasuo as a dive buddy is a no-brainer, and he brings some small amounts of healing for the early game.
- Malphite [Jungler] - Malphite jungle is a picking up a lot of steam with Predator, and tossing him in the jungle gives you that big initiation knock-up you need. If you're going AP he also provides some much needed secondary source of damage to the team and can easily dispatch entire teams 2v5 with Yasuo.
- Braum [Top] - This pick is one that I think could be optimized a bit better. Braum in lane is honestly pretty bad. However, his double wall combined with Yasuo is absolutely the most annoying thing in the game for any marksman, rendering them completely useless in a team fight.
Key Concepts
- Focus on getting Yasuo ahead, if he doesn't get ahead then this team composition won't work.
Countering
Countering this team mostly involves highly mobile champions that can avoid getting knocked-up. Champions that can duel with tanks are also optimal in this team composition. If you can avoid champions with projectiles that will also work to your advantage.
Here is an example team that may succeed:
Here is an example team that may succeed:
- Nocturne [Mid] - As a powerful backline diver, Nocturne can initiate on Yasuo and also provide a shield of darkness to prevent him from engaging properly during enemy knock-ups.
- Dr. Mundo [Jungle] - Packing percentage based damage and tenacity is awesome in any sense, and luckily Dr. Mundo has both. As one of the strongest junglers in the game right now, he's almost never a bad pick.
- Tahm Kench [Top] - With a team this tanky, picking up Tahm Kench allows you to keep your marksman safe from all those would-be assassins. His devour also optimal for taking out the front line or keeping Yasuo out of the fight.
- Pyke [Support] - When the enemy team is likely to end your markman no matter what you do, it's good to have some secondary source of damage. Pyke fits the bill nicely and can snowball team fights quickly and effectively.
- Lucian [Marksman] - One of the few marksmen that stands a chance against Yasuo in lane, Lucian is quite good at dodging the multitude of crowd-control spells the enemy team is packing as well. If you can manage to E Malphite ultimate you basically win the game.
Overall this team is also very strong but lacking in magic damage.
