Champions
Kai'Sa [Marksman] - Arguably the strongest marksman in the game right now, Kai'Sa specializes in punching through enemy teams with her insane burst potential and powerful dueling prowess. She's also one of the only marksmen that consistently jumps into enemy champions instead of away from them like a true champion.
---
Zed [Mid] - After the compensatory buffs on Zed post-duskblade nerfs, he's back to being incredibly strong. He scales well into late game, and has the ability to melt all five enemy team members by himself. He also happens to be the only champion on this team who not only goes all-in, but can also escape afterwards if he needs to.
--
Alistar [Support] - Picking between Alistar and Leona wasn't easy for this team comp. However, you can't beat Alistar for the sheer presence he provides and global cowbell taunt if you're running the right skin.
---
Kayn [Jungler] - If you're looking for a more satisfying punch you might want to pick up Jarvan instead. However, playing Kayn in this team composition gives your team double invulnerability and two assassination targets in combination with Zed.
---
Malphite [Top Laner] - On a team with two assassins (arguably three), Malphite is a cornerstone to this team and allows you to engage at will. By combining him with Alistar and Red Kayn, your team continuously knocks up enemies until they forget what it's like to actually play the game.

Key Concepts
- Don't be afraid of initiating on the enemy team. With any luck, when one of you jumps in the rest of your team will see and follow suit.
- Peeling for Kai'Sa is largely a job that should only be for Alistar. The rest of your team should just focus in on picking off the enemy champions. After Kai'Sa gets her invisibility, she should have enough peel to keep herself safe.
Countering
Countering this team involves picking up either some counter-engagement or just playing disengage. We're going to avoid putting Janna into this counter comp since that's just too easy.
Here is an example team that may succeed:
Here is an example team that may succeed:
- Zilean [Mid] - When the enemy team has such obviously projected assassination spells, pick up Zilean for a quick revive. As an added bonus, the amount of melee they have on the enemy team makes them easy pickings for your AOE damage.
- Olaf [Jungle] - There's nothing that scares an enemy marksman more than having little to no peel while an enemy Olaf is running straight for you...not that it matters once he pops his ultimate.
- Shen [Top] - Wet spaghetti fight top lane! In all seriousness your marksman is going to need some peel. Pick up Shen to make sure they can survive the onslaught of assassins.
- Morgana [Support] - The amount of AD on the enemy team will make it very difficult to break Morgana's shield. This allows her to keep her marksman as safe as possible.
- Vayne [Marksman] - Fight hypercarry with hypercarry. As an added bonus, if you're good enough with Vayne you can input buffer Alistar's headbutt.
Overall, this counter team is also very good but somewhat more skill-based.
