LoL Client
“With our LoL client work ongoing, game invites were next on our hit list. The below changes should help out with client performance. ”
- Players can now be invited to and accept game invitations while already in a lobby
- Lobby owners can now select a teammate to be the game owner and “draft captain” in charge of bans and first pick
- Improved invitee and lobby status updates:
- Accepted
- Pending
- Declined

- Invitations to games that are no longer available will now read “The invitation from «Summoner» has expired.”

- Chat’s no longer restricted when sending out large amounts on invites at once

Vel’Koz, the Eye of the Void is somewhere in this patch but will be turned on at a later date.
Corki
Corki players can now see Phosphorus Bomb’s area of effect indicator and Phosphorus Bomb now scales with bonus AD.
“Way back, we added more gameplay to Phosphorous Bomb in the form of a travel time, thereby increasing the difficulty of the skill but not the reward. We’ve added some extra gunpowder to the bomb this patch to rebalance the ability.”

Even though we trimmed down his explosive initiations and crazy fast Dragon/Baron killing speed, we still like Kha’Zix as a speedy hunter, so we buffed his ability to maneuver in fights.”

I wonder if we will ever see some client improvements like better management of runes/masteries pages, an improved queue system to get in queue as a determined role, and a build creator to set not only Item Builds, but also which skill to take at each level and maybe in-game tooltips on skills and items.

I can see why they nerfed Yasuo's shield strength, but I think it might have been a tad overdone. A reduction of 220 is huge. Or is it just me?
ReplyDeleteIt's a very small improvement that which I'm asking for the pages, just the ability to rearrange those pages. And for the builder and skill leveling management, people already use guides on the web to see which skill level up every level, this would just make easier to get used to a specific build for the first few games, and also would be useful on those champs which are used in multiple roles, so one wouldn't get confused when playing them after some time they didn't use it.

I think there are higher priorities like getting a determined role like you mention for ranked for example to avoid all the confusion/troll/flame/insult as much as possible.
And also the ALL chat should be by nature disabled in Ranked and maybe for the other modes too.

I think the problem with Yasuo was that his shield was so frustrating to take down in health. It was almost always a life saver, and the way it scaled was too much. 220 is fine with me.
ReplyDeleteSpellthief edge item line seems pretty overpowered on supports like Lulu and Annie. Especially Lulu, who has her Pix passive damage + the 10 damage from the spellthief edge item. She can literally Q > AA someone very low at level 1. Makes me happy :D

ReplyDeletePersonally think the Gragas changes won't impact him much. Would love to see a 0.2 ratio down for Gragas' R and 0.1 ratio down for his Q. This would give him a near moderately high burst still, but perhaps not enough to 1-0 his food. I'm not really well versed in skills that utilizes both AP and AD ratio but an increase in CD would tone down his laning strength, since E's cooldown is halved if it hits anyway, increasing its initial cooldown by 1 or 2 seconds is essentially fine.
ReplyDeleteAnd also, looking at his base values, it's pretty high for a "sustained" brawler. It would be nice to see reductions such as Q's base damage from 80/125/180/230/275 and R, 215/315/435. I don't think the nerfs will hurt him, he'll just be like Ahri when she was nerfed back in mid 2012. Being an Ahri mainer, I've not seen any nerfs hit as hard as the Ahri one and thus, I believe if Gragas' base damages and ratio were lowered moderately, he'll still do fine. Move a bit of the sustained element in to his cooldowns instead.
Also, pertaining to Yasuo. Thank gooood for the shield nerf. Now I'm just praying hard for them to increase Yasuo's dash CD or nerf the damage increase on his E, maybe by 5%. So it'll increase at by 20%, the nerf in CD is just meant to give players a fraction of second to react, especially those who rely on skillshots for damage. Oh, maybe R too, the armor penetration bonus could probably go down to 40 or 45%. That way, I think he'll be balanced or at least allow room for counterplay. Even though I dislike Yasuo, I think more nerfs should come in, just a few more tweaks to make him slightly balanced and toning down his strength. Reason being he benefits so much from his team, especially when you have a knock up team comp, and his wind wall blocks almost everything. if they can't look to increase the wall CD, at least nerfing his damage output would be fair. The way I see it, Yasuo is not meant to have any defensive abilities for the team, it's for himself. The idea was to allow Yasuo to survive on his own without the need of teammates' help but the wall being abused in teamfights, remember that so long as no engaging happens, Yasuo and his team can just back off and wait for the wall to come back CD before attempting to engage again.
Teemo nerfs are kinda sad though. I don't play Teemo but I've begun to develop fondness for our cute yordle. The ratio nerf was too harsh, I think 0.2 ratio reduction is definitely enough to please the fans and haters alike. 0.3 and the former 0.4 reduction is too harsh. Otherwise, just bring back the damn oracle or allow unseen shrooms to be destroyed by skillshots. Give it a grace period to compensate for that.
Well, I've just tried that out and I gotta say that it might just be a better idea. I had more success with it than I had evolving Q first even pre-nerf. Evolved Q damage comes from your target's missing health, and even if you'd take a tanky mid, like Cho'Gath, at level 6 with a Catalyst the Protector he would have what? Like 1000-1100 health? Evolved Q wouldn't do much against only this much of health. Now, an extra passive and extra 4 seconds of invisibility sounds more... appealing to me. Anyway, I could be wrong. Just throwing my 2 cents here.

ReplyDeleteI think the mushroom nerf is just fine for how you use it. Usually you take massive amounts of damage from mushroom minefields, and now it's much more toned down, in which you could actually survive.
It's only his mushrooms anyway, not his whole dang kit.
Wish Veigar will be shown some love, mainly cause he's so good, granted in the right hands and at lower leveled ranked games i.e. silver. IDK, it just seems my best champs are, according to the tier list, are my better hero's haha. For example, I love urgot, but get flamed for picking him. As above, veigar is my favourite mid, but tier 4. Oh well, guess i'll be alone hoping for some buffs on them :(...

ReplyDeleteN2 should/would be dealing with the balance of champions and fixing those flux of overused and underused champions by any freaking way
N3 should be fixing the toxicity in some players & community
Ban is a solution but not the way to fix the hole in this community ...
Mostly what League of Legends needs, its like a good old game or movie its to improve moral of player database reduce/delete the frustration of player in term of lose and behavior of the others...
N4 improve the UI & other aspect of mechanism of the game to give a greater aspect of the game and i think in this term RIOT proved to be awesome and did great improvement and even more when you know its a FREE 2 PLAY !
Thats my PoV ofc, but i think that order should be and remain for our enjoyement and fidelity to this game!

ReplyDeleteDude, the best thing is to rock as one Underdog champion... Silver ppl wont know how to react to a FullPower Spider Pudge (AKA Urgoth). if you are good at a champion, keep on with him. Every champion is viable, but some just need more skill than others, if you have, there is no reason why you should not pick a Veigar over a Ziggs. :P

ReplyDeleteI dunno how is the behavior of EU players, but i can tell you, u don't know hell b4 u play @ Brazilian server... it's hell -______-, of course not all the players are a toxic dump, but the ones that are.... oh boy, Chernobyl is a playground compared to them... i almost feel like it should be the N1 priority to CLEANSE this community...Riot should ban more and make some Perma Bans examples.
I think there are toxicity in every platform of the game.

1- It doesn't really teach anything to anyone except fear/frustration(to not be able to play anymore) and it just fill the section of the forum about it about people crying over their behavior and filling their body with even more hate.(stupid but that the reality of things.
2- Your state of mind is that each ban makes the community better i wish it was true but a person losing his account will just do move to his smurf or create another account...So in the end the tribunal mean nothing good for the toxic player in case and so people wishing to play in a good environment...
What will be the best solution is that the tribunal department of RIOT takes care of those issues in a different way by teaching people how to re-educate them self.
People having a bad behavior should be escalated in such way that they will not be able to talk or ping for the next month! (and not few games like it works now) it will teach toxic player to keep their frustration for them self...
and the all privilege of talking & ping should be enable by those banner you unlock from honor system.
I think that would be the adequate solution to all the players trolling/flaming/QQing and those players that spam ping like a Kalashnikov making every shape of the game meaningful !
Trust me the Huehuehue is not only on BR platform...

ReplyDeleteCan I get a Fiora Buff please. She is my fav champ but just doesnt seem viable. The buff could be her E ability de-buffs slows/stuns that way she has a little cc debuff. This would also help with her get away problem. It wouldnt be OP because her E only last seconds
