A lot of the meta is shifting more towards the middle of the map, since most of the overwhelming AD carries were nerfed and top lane's pretty stagnant. Junglers are also starting to make a higher impact on the game as well, especially those that synergize with mid laners that can carry a game.
Vi/Yasuo:
I figured I'd put these two together simply because their synergy is OUTRAGEOUS. If you haven't realized already, Yasuo's buffs this patch( coupled with the fact that more people are simply better at playing him than before) have really jetted him to the top of the pick/ban/win rate ladder. At the moment, Yasuo IS the new Kassadin.
Meanwhile, with Vi's inescapable ultimate, any game with a Yasuo and Vi on the same team means extreme pain for just about any mid laner.
As for Vi on her own, it STILL means extreme pain for most mid laners.
Leblanc
I see a lot of people asking for Leblanc to be moved up to balanced or higher in the tier list. While Leblanc certainly has the ability to snowball and carry a game, a friend of mine says it well:
"If you don't die in lane to Leblanc, we've already won"Although her ability to kill in lane is high, as long as you play safely mid lane and wait for your jungler to come, Leblanc simply doesn't have the waveclear to keep up with a lot of popular champions at the moment, which severely limits her farming and roaming potential.
Naturally, there are plenty of people at high levels who are amazing at Leblanc, and I'm sure I'll be getting plenty more feedback on how she should be god tier. As I love watching the videos, feel free to send them my way!
Gragas
With squishy, high damage champions like Yasuo and Leblanc gaining power, along with the fact that Draven's back in play, it's no wonder that with his damage mitigation and attack speed reduction power Gragas has quickly come back onto the scene. Although his skill cap is somewhat higher than most other champions, he currently offers more than enough damage to compensate for the discrepancy.
Meanwhile, if he actually DOES manage to hit everything consistently, there's always the possibility of him instantly killing 2 members of your team and severely hurting the rest all by himself in a single combo.
Elise
Repeated nerfs to other junglers have allowed Elise to progressively get stronger and stronger. This, coupled with the fact that the game keeps shifting to earlier and earlier game champions, has empowered her the ability to snowball a team ferociously hard. Although she's still squishy early on, the damage she puts out is more than enough to send most opponents packing rather than fighting.

nah leblanc doesn't deserve god tier.
ReplyDeleteIf you are not fed your combo can be so unreliable & brained that you can't even 1v1 enemy adc.
If you start DFG you sacrifice rabaddon rush and you wont be able to clean waves correctly as you said...
definitely not god tier.
She's a low elo stomper, especially if no one understands how insane her kill potential is. It is annoying to have to build health and mr just to be able to farm in lane vs her tho
ReplyDeleteGragas on the other hand... Def God tier, but getting nerfs on his insane ratios
Galio?
ReplyDeleteVi is still in need of some serious balance reworks. Its like taking Skaners Ult and saying "its not strong enough, lets just go crazy and not worry about the end result!". And there we have Vi, if she ults you, your done for the vast majority of the time.
ReplyDeleteTop is definitely stagnant. However with yasuo being ridiculous, wukong is even better now. I topped with wukong and a mid yasuo.. felt better than crystal arrow and stranglethorns.
ReplyDeleteHad to turn on adblock again from too many unmutable video ads.
ReplyDeleteBlargh, my bad! As long as you come back for the content though =]
ReplyDeleteWhy can't they just work the way they're supposed to ._.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason she is never going to be God Tier is because the damage are not that insane and when/if the game reach more than 35mins and you aren't that certain of winning or you are the only one winning i doubt when the enemy team finaly bought negatron items you can consider yourself fked or your team is doing as good or better than you otherwise they will get STOMPED...
ReplyDeleteIf you still want to insist over those fact then you ain't playing the same game & i got tons of reviewers platine/diamond that will agree with me.
Assassins ≠ Late Game
rofl rabadon rush on lb? learn some math with void staff before you rush a rabadon, DFG > void staff, and if you gotta farm, learn to put pts into W instead of Q, does anyone even know what the term 'adaptation' means? idiots.
ReplyDeleteif you put points into W you put points into mobility & aoe nuke but you lose reliability power on ganks.
ReplyDeleteBut go ahead teach me your knowledge, void staff second item ye good.
I dont know about vi. Yes she's easy and good, but tbh in low elo volibear's more effective. Vi can't do much ganking an enemy that's already been fed. She ults and that's about all she offers...She also needs the enemy to be pretty pushed for her to gank effectively pre-6. Otherwise youre knocking them closer to their turret. If you cant leave ur mark in the first 15 minutes of a low elo game then you're along for the crap shoot of who wins. I feel like with volibear's more reliable early ganks, damage you need for when laners dont follow in, and extra tankiness due to his passive make him the better jungler for silver and under.
ReplyDeletexin zhao is the bronze silver elo king. Don't you dare compare him to voli burr or peelise
ReplyDeleteKnow the game for some weeks now its too high for me.
ReplyDeleteI've been having great games as Lulu recently, due to her ultimate disrupting those high dmg but low health melee players that are popular right now. Also, it's quite easy to get ap on her, making the speed boost and shield excellent tools in those fights. Now granted, I'm only in Silver 2, so maybe that's why it's working so well. I'd give her a try though if you haven't played in a while, great fun.
ReplyDeleteWhy play xin jungle if you can elise?
ReplyDeleteWhy play xin top if you can play shyvana?
I rest my case.
Leblanc's ability to outplay and get in and out of tough situations makes her a really strong champion, then you add her damage output and it's really clear that she's a dominating champ.
ReplyDeleteYour friend's quote is pretty idiotic. Although snowballing in lane helps Leblanc a lot, her roaming potential is top tier. With a back to back snare, silence, and gap closer, there's nothing more you would need.
She does have a high skill cap but the fact remains that if you manage to pick her up and play her handily, then she's terrifying in every part of the game.
Her complete burst can be put out ever 30 seconds roughly, but her burst from just her basic moves should be enough to pick off a squishy adc.
Her roaming potential may be good against certain champions, but against high waveclear champions it's doubtful a leblanc will get the chance to roam unless she manages to take out her opposing midlaner first.
ReplyDeleteSomeone can explain me how to beat Nasus ou top? Yesterday I got my butt kicked playing my main, Tryndamere, agaist him. Its just impossible trade with him, since his Q is ridiciulous.
ReplyDeleteSimple, shut him down early, for tryndamere's case you'll want to keep your fury up and harass him in lane, try not to let him farm.
ReplyDeleteWell, I was trying starting with W, with full fury of course, so hit him with some AA and so run back with E but still he hurt me more in that trade and its very hard deny his farm since his passive is OP.
ReplyDeleteEvery time he starts to swing at a minion with his Q on, go in for harass if there aren't too many minions.
ReplyDeleteKk, I'll try. Thanx anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteSkarner's ult is a suppression, which is nowhere near what Vi's ult is.
ReplyDeletego in on him when he needs to last hit. He'll either use his q on you and lose farm or you get free harass. do this constantly and dont push the lane and you have won.
ReplyDeletebro im a lee sin main but i have been playing al lot of eve post nerf and i dont see why she is teir 3 just asking ( :
ReplyDeletejust stomped a game 14/1/11 as leblanc. had 240 cs at the end of the game (2nd highest).. her wave clear is amazing if you max w first and i didnt get my first kill till around lvl 9/10
ReplyDeletemax w first....the damage is much more consistent than landing combos and the q w r q e combo hurts like a truck
ReplyDeletew r a wave once you get your dfg (first item)..good bye wave. one of the best wave clears in the game
ReplyDeleteHello there, i need to ask you something: is Yasuo worth buying? I mean, i know he's undoubtedly broken, but he is perma-banned almost all the time and i wanna take the moment to ask: i have 6,3k IP, who do you recommend me to buy,, Yasuo, Shyvana or Wukong? My playstyle is weird i like to play any role, but in terms of winning, who's the best of these three? (I have runes for all of them).
ReplyDeleteWukong probably. He has the biggest impact on the game, and you'll still have some ip left. Play him in the jungle.
ReplyDeleteCould you say why amumu is better than sejuani, they have similar skills
ReplyDeleteLeblanc's silence nerf hurt her a lot. Now, you can't 100-0 burst anybody because they can use their abilities to either stun or run away. She's still good at roaming, but....
