New Medals and New Tier (Diamond)
Despite all the stress and anxiety elo brings, the end of the season is closing in upon us, meaning we'll lock in whatever height we've accomplished, or whatever low we've sunk to. Either way, Riot's blessed us with some updated animations for our Season 2, along with a new tier: DIAMOND

I don't understand what the Tier thing is? I understand how the trophies work but I never heard of this tier thing before, can somebody explain pls?:)
ReplyDeleteIt's probably just more levels in between, like...1410 silver will look different from 1500 silver

ReplyDeletethere they tell you tier value I have a picture of 7 from the bronze tier and I'm 1149 ELO so according to official chart(in link) I'm "Bronze 1".
These were released prior to the official announcement of the brackets, they just named them in reverse order on the official site for some reason...kinda like 1st place, 2nd place etc.

ReplyDeleteHi. Just wondering, I'm having a gold medal icon on my profile but my highest rating on Solo Q is 1476. I thought i had to get 1500 to get the gold medal? I don't paly ranked teams.
ReplyDeleteWere you 1500 two days ago and then lost 2 games? It's based off of your highest elo after the reset a few days ago, not your current elo

ReplyDeleteThe Tiers are basically an overall of your in-game experience for example reaching a certain amount of wins, take-downs or even minion kills you can earn Tiers, these tiers prove to others how you are on the playing field, they don't effect your gameplay but simply show others your skills and talents in LoL
