The SoloMid.Net Strategy Guides Review

Since this is a new line of blog posts, I'd like to hammer out a couple reviews for the day just to get it started. Once again, this is a new category of blog posts I'm dedicating to reviews of helpful/entertaining League of Legends fan sites. I'd love for you to keep coming back to this site, but these sites definitely have content worth looking into!

Now, for the second site: SoloMid.Net:

I'll give you 3 guesses what this is a picture of

The Solo Mid is the official site for the members of TSM, currently ranked the top team in the North American region. They have a large collection of "Featured" guides that are written by none other than the members of TSM and/or other professional level gamers that they somehow convinced to write guides for them, such as Westrice of Epik Gaming.

SoloMid.Net also allows users to upload their own guides onto the website, and while I'm sure that a lot of the guides are great and all, I personally only read the featured ones written by the pros themselves; after all, that's what I go there to find.

Conclusion:

• SoloMid.Net is definitely the place to go if you want to find high quality guides that will bring your game to the next level
• THE ONLY CON: I realize that the team members need to make money to support their professional lifestyles. However, the advertisements on this website are possibly the MOST annoying ones I've ever witnessed. They have a pop-up on the bottom of the screen, if you click out of the box on the sides it's another ad, and most guides have an automatically playing video advertisement with sound.
• Despite all that, SoloMid is still the place I go and recommend to find guides on any hero you want to learn how to play at a high level.
